Melancholy of the Ancient
I took these photos years ago when I was still a teenager. Maybe was sixteen, not more. I was visiting the Buenos Aires Zoo, it was my first time there ... When I saw this Chimpanzee. Tears began to trickle from my eyes like water, his look, his old, tired and gloomy look.
Then I read an informational poster which said that he was the oldest Chimpanzee with live in Argentina, even older than my mother (who at the time she was 42). Unfortunately, I do not remember his name, and I don't know if he's still alive (I don't think so, he was too older). But his eyes never erased from my mind, I never stopped believing that he, like me, had feelings, was thinking. He was longing for the past.
